Welcome to Polar Bookkeeping and Accounting Limited! We are a husband and wife team, who aside from bookkeeping help people track and understand the numbers that will give them the insight to grow their business.. We don’t come from the corporate world, but we have run our own businesses and so understand the challenges that business owners face.
Interests
Rebecca is amazing with arts and crafts and runs her own business as a seamstress. She is super talented. I have been learning Chinese Mandarin for the last 4 years and it’s now my favourite language! I also love distance running…although the distance and frequency aren’t what they should be 😅. We have two boys who are a constant source of entertainment to us.
Work History
We worked together to run a window cleaning business until my shoulders asked for a change of occupation. I spent 8 years as director of operation at Upperton Vineyards, a sparkling wine vineyard in West Sussex, which was a really interesting and diverse job. I learnt a lot about running a business and even more about the value of tracking numbers during my time in that role.
